Is hands-free driving safe for use on our roadways?

Is Driver-Assistance Technology Safe?

The rise in interest for self-driving / hands-free / autopilot automotive technology is growing, but the technology cannot overcome human carelessness (yet). This GMC commercial  makes it seem like clapping is more important than being alert to what’s happening around us.

Really? This is what we choose to give our attention to?

Tesla touts its autopilot tech as cutting edge, yet it’s not enough to replace common sense for this driver on the highway.

Concern about autopilot pedestrian-detecting tech in FSD (full self driving) mode has built up quite a bit.

And, if it’s NOT flawless, are you willing to risk it? Do you want to be the product tester on the road?
