Registration and Verification
Registration is easy - just have your ticket information, driver license and vehicle registration in hand when you sign up. The TEA requires us to verify your identity using data from the Texas DPS and Texas DOT. The course is six hours in length but does not have to be done all at once unless you want to. Simply log in and out whenever you want and complete the program at your own pace. Each chapter has a quiz as you go and there is no final exam at the end of the course.
Course Completion and Certificate Delivery
After you complete the course we send you a certificate in the mail. (Since it is printed on special paper, we are unable to email your certificate to you.) Certificates generally get processed daily and you should receive your certificate within 5-7 days, but we offer FedEx upgrades for faster delivery and tracking capabilities if you need it right away. You can also log in and check the certificate status on your student control panel after you finish.

- The 1SafeDriver.com Texas Defensive Driving Course is divided into several lessons that can be easily navigated from the student control panel. At the end of each chapter is a multiple choice quiz. At the end of the last chapter - that's it! There is no final exam. Just verify your information using the certificate wizard and complete a quick survey to give us some feedback about your experience with us. Your certificate of completion will then be on its way!

This may be due to an out of state driver license or a vehicle registered outside the state of Texas. The Texas TEA require us to verify who you are and guarantee that you are the one actually taking the online program. Simply fill out the affidavit, get it notarized and fax it back to the toll-free number on the form before completing the course so we can issue your certificate.
